Homelessness Partnering Strategy

In December 2012, the Human Development Council began its role as the Community Entity for Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS) funding for the Designated Communities of Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John. HPS is a community-based program aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness by providing direct support and funding. As the Community Entity, the Human Development Council works with communities to develop Community Plans, issue Calls for Proposals, facilitate funding recommendation processes and administer funding and reporting requirements. For more information on HPS funding please contact Greg Bishop at greg@sjhdc.ca or call 506-636-8541, or visit the Government of Canada’s website by clicking here.
