CIVIC TECH SAINT JOHN

ABOUT CTSJ

Civic Tech Saint John is Civic Tech Saint John (CTSJ) is a volunteer-driven special project of the Human Development Council that works to advance social inclusion and equity-driven impact in the region through technology for social good.

Inspired by Civic Tech Fredericton (through Greater Fredericton Social Innovation), CTSJ was launched in February, 2020 to bring together residents, community leaders, and people working, studying, or seeking opportunities in digital technology with nonprofit organizations to collaboratively address community challenges using technology, data, and design.

CTSJ meets regularly to develop projects and explore ideas that support social development and community innovation in Saint John. As part of the national Civic Tech movement launched by Code for Canada, CTSJ is one of three Civic Tech groups in New Brunswick, alongside Fredericton and Moncton .

CTSJ is collaborative, creative, and community-driven, with its capacity evolving based on the time, skills, and energy of the volunteers from diverse backgrounds who participate weekly.

When: Every Tuesday (6:30 to 8:30PM)
